Katey Lane is an integral component of Harcourts Grenadiers continuing success. As a Manager with Grenadier Real Estate Ltd Katey shoulders the responsibility of ensuring Harcourts Grenadiers sales consultants are trained to an industry level of expertise, and that there are enough high calibre consultants to service the ever increasing client demand.
Katey continues to display guile and innovation in accomplishing the companies strategic goals, always staying one step ahead of the game. Katey’s career in real estate started in 1996 as a salesperson. She credits her success with Harcourts Grenadier to her own extensive education, both theoretical and practical. Katey completed her AREINZ qualification through Massey University in 2004 and additionally the Real Estate endorsed diploma in Business Studies.
It is Katey’s unwavering belief in the value if education and its role in raising the standards of the industry that has become central to her recruitment and training policies. She is testament to the advantages to be gained from learning in professional educational programmes and is now applying this ethos of improvement to the Grenadier group with enormous success.
Katey has instituted comprehensive training programmes into the Grenadier framework, with sessions on various subjects being available to her consultants on an almost daily basis. By working alongside the agents she ensures she is exposed to the changing dynamics of the industry and can cater to them accordingly.
Preferring to be proactive rather than reactive, Katey has also developed the Cadetship Programme to nurture and groom the next generation of high calibre sales consultants.
