Barry Davidson

Barry was brought up in Ashburton and lived in Gore, Nelson and Takaka, Golden Bay. In 2000, he moved back to Canterbury and settled in Christchurch. Being a family man Barry is married to Peta, he has one step daughter, Bria`n age 11 and a son, Adam age 18 months. Family activities include organic gardening, mountain biking, walking, fishing, camping etc.

After moving back to Christchurch, Barry successfully completed a New Zealand Diploma in Business and a Christchurch Diploma in Marketing at Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology. During that journey Barry built up additional skills relating to business and marketing on top of his business experience he already had. Barry also developed a passion for sales and marketing and has been a proficient sales person since.

Barry’s latest position was as a commission sales person for a ventilation company selling ventilation solutions to home owners. Unfortunately the ventilation company went into receivership in August 2009. In the short time Barry was there, he gained top salesperson for the months of June and July 2009. Not letting his redundancy stop him in any way Barry decided to create a career in Real Estate as he has a strong interest in Property Investing and Property in general. Since 2000 Barry has built up an in-depth knowledge of the Real Estate Industry in Christchurch with his property investing activities.
